The reason I chose NovaLash was because I realised, I was lost in the beauty world. I did not have ‘that treatment’ that I was in love with or had an immense passion for. All of my fellow local beauty therapists had that specific treatment that they were known for, such as eyebrows or nails. I felt like I needed to find mine.
I had also just started getting my lashes done by fellow lash artist Kate after previously going elsewhere and was amazed by the retention, comfort, and look of NovaLash!
For me it was about selecting a brand that would support me, but also be something that nobody offered in my wee village. At the time there were a couple of lash artists. I chose NovaLash initially because training was offered 2 hours from my location which is almost unheard of in my part of the country. Before I signed up, I did some research and found that NovaLash had impressive credentials. At that time lashing was very new in my area. I wanted to get ahead of the trend and recognized the earning potential of a lash stylist. From my first class I was hooked. I loved the finite attention to detail required for lashing. I found it peaceful and relaxing to lash however I did struggle to learn the skills. Although I was hooked, I was rather arrogant thinking I didn’t need to practice. Time ticked on and the American Volume technique was introduced. I signed up. That class changed my life! I had a better understating of what I was doing wrong. I finally accepted the importance of practice. Sophia Navarro inspired me to a degree I’ve never felt in the past. In that class I decided then and there I wanted to do for others what she was doing for me. I wanted to be a trainer. I also set a goal that by the end of that year (I took the class in February) 50% of my business would be lashes. I met and exceeded that goal in 3 months. By the end of the year I was doing exclusively lashes. Then, I set my sights on becoming a trainer. I was making more money than I had in my entire life and had a strong desire to help others improve their careers. Every time I placed an order with corporate, I said, ‘If y’all need a trainer in Mississippi I’m your girl’ Then one magical day I received an email inviting me to apply to become a NovaLash Trainer. It was as if the sky opened up and golden sunshine shown down on me. I am now a trainer and Brand Ambassador. Two roles I am so very proud to hold and take very seriously. Because of NovaLash I am financially independent. I have the personal confidence only a teenager can dream of obtaining. I have been on local news and featured in several regional publications. I provide lash services for many local and regional celebrities. But most of all I am proud of all that I’ve accomplished and at 54.5 years old I have grand goals and dreams for my future that NovaLash has helped me see and will help me achieve. When I say NovaLash changed my life, I mean that in every single aspect of my life. I am forever grateful and loyal to all who have helped, trained, mentored, and befriended me. You never know the impact you may have on the life of another. I can only hope to help someone as much as I’ve been helped and supported by my NovaFamily.

3 years prior to me becoming Novalash certified, I found Novalash online for a friend looking to add beauty services to her medical practice. I told her it looked like the best training and products on the market as it was physician-developed and FDA approved.
These were important points for me when I decided to get trained.
My 10th anniversary is 2 weeks away and boy has Novalash changed my life. So much has changed from the first weekend after class thinking I was never going to get this and I’d just wasted a bunch of money, to now owning and running a lash salon fulltime as well as being a trainer and distributor for Novalash in 2 countries.

I’d like to say that NovaLash chose me! After a few years of figuring out what I wanted to do and what path to take in my career, eyelashes appeared to me on many different occasions. When I finally gave in to the idea of moving forward, there was a perfect opportunity for me to begin my journey! Within the first year, I became certified in NovaLash Classic, then a certified trainer to teach students my new passion in all of California! A few years in and lots of traveling later, we grew so much that I could no longer do it all alone. I flew back to Texas where I then became a certified trainer to train, mentor and certify other trainers in our state! From there, Novalash continued to grow state-wide and we were able to add over 15 trainers over the years, just in California. I’m so honored that I had such a big role in the academy- from trainer, to VP! What a whirlwind.
When I decided that I was ready for the next step in my personal and professional life, NovaLash was there to fully support me! After having my son, I knew I wanted to be closer to home but still utilize all that I had learned over the years with lashes and being an esthetician.
